The letter writen by Mohammed Ajmal Amir Iman aka Kasab to his parents in Pakistan is not yet posted as the police fear that the letter might contain some encrypted message to his handlars in Pakistan.
Kasab has reportedly admitted to being trained on how to use dots, letters and symbols in a specific way to communicate with his accomplices. "Kasab has told us that during his advance training, he has been taught to communicate in various codes to evade interception. We are intentionally not posting his letter, as it may be coded, too," said Joint Commissioner of Police (crime) Rakesh Maria.
According to crime branch officials, Kasab also revealed that he received training on various other ways to communicate, including the use of orange and lime juice to encrypt letters, which can be decrypted (read) using special tactics known only to his accomplices. On Sunday, Kasab was given a piece of paper and a pen to write a letter to his parents after he expressed his desire to do so.
He wrote a letter in simple Urdu and gave police his native address, which is in Faridkot village under Dipalpur tehsil, in Okada district in Pakistan.
While Ajmal, who is reportedly in early twenties, was nabbed near Girgaum Chowpatty, the nine others were killed by security forces.
Police officers said this was Ajmal's first operation while some of the others had participated in terror attacks earlier.

NCP chief Sharad Pawar will not celebrate his birthday
NCP chief Sharad Pawar will not celebrate his 68th birthday on Friday in the wake of the Mumbai terror attacks. Pawar will be in Delhi in the morning on that day to attend Parliament and leave for Pune later in the day but there will be no celebrations, party sources said.
Congress chief Sonia Gandhi had also not celebrated her birthday on Tuesday in view of the Mumbai incidents.

Nitesh Rane, son of suspended Congress leader Narayan Rane, on wednesday quit the post of General Secretary of the Mumbai Youth Congress.
Nithesh made the announcement at a press conference in presence of around 160 of his supporters.
After the press conference near Mumbai Congress office, where Chief Minister Ashok Chavan was scheduled to meet the party functionaries on Wednesday, there was a scuffle between his supporters and Congress workers.

Tired of terror? India wants action not words
CNN-IBN debated the issue on Face the Nation with a panel comprising Congress leader and Haryana minister Randeep Surjewala; Editor Manushi Madhu Kishwar; BJP leader Siddharth Nath Singh and President of the Professionals Party of India, RV Krishnan.
Siddharth Nath Singh was clearly in the line of fire and was asked if the party underestimated the sensibilities of the voters. Did it really think the voters would read adverts and go out and vote against the Congress – and in the favour of BJP? Many say the party scared the electorate and therefore was not voted in.
Siddharth defended the party and said terror was a national issue and that the BJP raised it only because of it was required to be raised. "We felt it was the right time and therefore we did it. There’s nothing wrong with it as terror is and will remain a national issue. How to handle terror is part of good governance," he said.
Tired of terror?
Madhu Kishwar put the public mood in perspective and said the days of "anti-campaigning” are over. "People want to know what parties stand for, what’s their vision and track record rather than pointing fingers," she said.
In fact, Kishwar even said the people did not care if a party was pro or anti globalisation and for or against Pakistan. She said it was all ideological fluff. "Just show us if you are pro-citizen," she said.
Siddharth and Kishwar got into a heated argument at this statement. While Kishwar alleged the BJP hadn’t itself done much to curb terror and, therefore, shouldn’t be complaining, Siddharth said the issue was an issue pertaining to national governance.
While many say BJP’s allegations are tantamount to a pot calling the kettle black, it’s also beyond doubt that the Congress has shown little leadership in tackling with the problem.
In fact Kishwar alleged the Congress too tried to capitalised on Gujarat riots and that there were allegations of several party workers being involved in the riots along with BJP cadres. "You saw Congress and BJP cadres were seen together on streets. And that’s why Congress can’t stand in Gujarat and look at the people in the eye," she said.

* During the ongoing Amarnath Sangarsh, Jammuites holding the IndianNational Flag and chanting 'Bharat Mata ki Jai' are open fired by the J&KPolice on orders from the Police Commissioner(belongs to kashmir).Peaceful protesters are killed.
* Like in case of Amarnath case, people in Kashmir when want to get somedemand fulfilled, protest by burning Indian national Flag, hostingPakistani Flag and chanting 'Hindustan Murdabad, Pakistan Jindabad'. Butno body condemns... Infact, all such protest are followed by a team ofunion ministers visiting Kashmir and immediately sanctioning a fewthousand crore rupees for Kashmiris.
* Every year on 14th Aug (Pakistani Independence Day), Pakistani flag ishosted every where in Kashmir , including the govt. buildings and on 15thAug, same people burn the Indian flag.

Vilasrao Deshmukh formally steps down.
Vilasrao Deshmukh has finally stepped down as Maharashtra Chief Minister and has sent his resignation to Governor S C Jamir.
"I have accepted moral responsibility for Mumbai terror attacks; in a democracy one has to honour people's anguish and anger," said Vilasrao Deshmukh.
Five days after the Maharshtra Chief Minister offered to quit at the Congress Working Committee, the party finally accepted his resignation on Wednesday.
Senior Congress leaders Pranab Mukherjee and A K Antony are in Mumbai as party's central observers to help choose a new Maharashtra Chief Minister.
Ex-CM Sushilkumar Shinde, Narayan Rane and Maharashtra's Industry Minister Ashok Chavan remain front-runners for the post.
