A day after seeking time to consider appearing in the 26/11 attacks trial, advocate Anjali Waghmare on Wednesday informed a special court that she was willing to represent arrested terrorist Mohammed Ajmal Amir Kasab.
Waghmare had on Tuesday asked the court for a day to think over whether she wanted to represent Kasab following protests by Shiv Sena activists outside her residence in Worli after she was appointed defence counsel by the special court.
She had also given a letter to Sena activists on Monday apologising for taking up the representation of Kasab and said she would withdraw from the case....

Sri Lanka army 'kills 15 rebels'
The Sri Lankan armed forces say they have killed at least 15 Tamil Tiger rebels in intense battles in the north of the country.
The government says it has now restricted the rebels to an area of less than 25 sq km.
But pro-rebel websites say that the guerrillas have been offering stiff resistance to the army's offensive.
There is no independent confirmation of the events as journalists cannot report from the conflict zone.

BrahMos cruise missile hits 'bull's eye' !
New Delhi: The Indian Army on Sunday successfully test fired the land attack version of the supersonic BrahMos cruise missile at the Pokhran test range in Rajasthan. The missile took off successfully and hit the "bull's eye", an official statement said. The missile, a joint venture of India and Russia, was fired at 11.15 am on Sunday.
